Dolly, the 13 year old rescue dog is in private tr Dolly, the 13 year old rescue dog is in private training lessons with Vikki for behavior modification. She is in training to learn how to coexist with her room mate Mayci the cat. Prior to training she would immediately lunge and growl at Mayci. Mayci was constantly hiding and no longer venturing around the house. We have been utilizing systematic desensitization, counter-conditioning, and habituation to change both of their responses towards each other. They are making fantastic progress learning how to coexist with each other.
