Professional Dog Training

We offer In-Home Private Training for those in Lafayette. We offer basic and advanced obedience training in the comfort of your own home. Advanced private training lessons can take place in your home or a location. All ages and breed are welcome for training. We will travel within 30 miles of Lafayette.

Training

Our hybrid training program is designed to specifically cater to puppies 5 months of age and younger. We take trips to local parks, pet stores, and sometimes even restaurants to ensure adequate socialization and reliability of cues.

Private Training lessons take place in your home, our facility, or in a public location close to you. All ages and breeds are welcome for private training. We will travel within 30 miles of Lafayette to meet your needs for private training.

Modification

Behavior modification for aggression, fear, phobias, and anxiety is offered in private lessons to Lafayette and surrounding residents. All ages and breeds are accepted for behavior modification to adjust problem behaviors.

Group classes, specialty workshops, puppy socials, learning seminars, and private lessons are held at our facility located in Lafayette. All ages and breeds are welcome for in-facility training with proof of current vaccinations.

Beignet, the 4 month old Goldendoole puppy, recent Beignet, the 4 month old Goldendoole puppy, recently started his in-home private training lessons. We discovered that he is Fitz’s brother—the Goldendoodle puppy that completed our board & train program! Beignet is in training to work on potty training, puppy nipping, and his manners. He's very sweet and had so much fun at his first lesson. We discussed how he begins to nip when he is cranky and in need of a nap. His owner will now be implementing a routine to help with potty training and allow for frequent naps. Puppies at this age need around 14 to 18 hours of sleep in a 24 hour - day. Rice Puddin, the Bernadoodle puppy, recently compl Rice Puddin, the Bernadoodle puppy, recently completed our board and train program. We are now working with his canine sibling, Gravy Bones, the 1 and a half year old Goldendoodle. Gravy is in training for his anxiety. When he was a young puppy, a utensil fell by him when eating in the kitchen. It was very loud and provoked a fear response. Prior to training, Gravy would avoid the kitchen and the presence of room maintained his anxiety in the house. We have been building his confidence with training and he can now freely go in and out the kitchen. His anxiety has majorly decreased and he is now working on learning his obedience cues. As her pet parent says, she has 2 speeds she is either 🦡 Honey badger or 🐇Honey bunny. She's currently working hard on loose leash walking and stay with distractions. She's made tremendous progress with focus and learning her manners.
