ONLINE BOOKING

Online booking makes scheduling your dog’s training quick and stress-free. Simply choose the service you’re interested in, select an available date and time, and secure your spot instantly. Once booked, you’ll receive a confirmation with all the details, so you will know exactly what to expect. 

If you have limited availability and need specific days/times for your sessions,  contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you. We service clients Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 2:00pm. All ages and breed are welcome for training. We will travel within 30 miles of Lafayette.

GROUP
CLASSES

Group classes are held monthly at our Training Center  located in Lafayette. All ages and breeds are welcome with proof of current vaccinations. We offer a wide variety of classes from basic to advanced obedience.

WORKSHOPS

Our specialty workshops are a great way to enhance your dog’s training. Each month we offer a variety of  workshops such as Puppy Play Time, Loose Leash Walking, Tricks, K9 Conditioning, Scent Work, and Intro to Agility.

PRIVATE TRAINING
LESSONS

Private Training lessons can take place in your home, our facility, or in a public location close to you. All ages and breeds are welcome for private training. Travel fee of $0.65 per round-trip applies to those 10 miles outside of the 70508 zip code.

BEHAVIOR
MODIFICATION

Behavior modification for aggression, fear, phobias, and anxiety is offered in private lessons to Lafayette and surrounding residents. All ages and breeds are accepted for behavior modification to adjust problem behaviors.

Fritz, the Doberman puppy, completed our board and Fritz, the Doberman puppy, completed our board and train program at the beginning of the year. A few months after training he broke his toe and required lots of crate rest. He became pretty pent up and began showing signs of resource guarding from his owners. It wasn't surprising that he was resource guarding due to his history of being found emaciated. Resource guarding is a fear based behavior. We implemented management, desensitization, counter-conditioning, enrichment, and polished his obedience training. During our training lessons, he broke another toe while running in the yard and had to endure crate rest again! He is no longer showing signs of guarding and his owners are continuing his training to manage the behavior. Buddy, the Great Pyrenees puppy, enjoyed his field Buddy, the Great Pyrenees puppy, enjoyed his field trip to Petco. It was quite the challenging environment for him to focus in. He practiced his obedience cues and loved receiving pets from the workers in the store. Scruffy, the 3 year old rescued Mixed Breed, rece Scruffy, the 3 year old rescued Mixed Breed, recently completed his first round of in-home private training lessons. Prior to training his owners could not have visitors in the house. He would constantly growl, bark, and displayed heavy resource guarding of the entire home, along with aggression towards guests. His veterinarian adjusted his behavior medication fir training and we implemented heavy management. Utilizing positive reinforcement training techniques, we have increased Scruffy's tolerance fkr guests and decreased the area of the home that he guards. Guests can now safely visit in the kitchen and living room. He is still working on decreasing his aggression and is making progress each week.
