Waffle, the 7 month Miniature Goldendoodle puppy, Waffle, the 7 month Miniature Goldendoodle puppy, recently completed his in-home private training lessons. We worked on stopping his attention seeking jumping, biting, and taught him how to come when called. We learned that he was engaging in low level resource guarding and taughthim the value of trades. This 1 hour workshop will introduce your dog to agility obstacles such as - the A-frame, weaves, tunnel, jumps, dog walk and more! The cost is $45/dog. ✅Classes take place at our training center located at 131 James Comeaux Rd, Lafayette La 70508. ✅Proof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian, a negative fecal, and flea prevention are needed to attend class. Puppies need 2 rounds of vaccines given by a veterinarian. ✅All classes are taught with positive reinforcement based methods, we do not use any choke, prong, or shock collars.

We recently had a behavior consultation for Franki We recently had a behavior consultation for Frankie the 2 year old rescue dog. His owners are not local to the area, but we were able to assess him and put together a training strategy to decrease his stress and aggression. We were also able to provide an appropriate referral to a Certified Behavior Consultant to continue his training. We also made referral to his veterinarian to rule out pain and discuss the potential use of behavior medication. We learned that Frankie struggles with fear aggression. He is unable to be around guests or walk down the street without being over threshold. He will growl snd bark constantly. We discussed management, muzzle conditioning, and body language. We developed an enrichment protocol to decrease his daily stress. We also instructed his owner on how to safely begin to desensitize and counter-condition him to triggers.
