I was skeptical about hiring a trainer because my dog is 5 years old and stuck in her ways. Sissy had behavior issues with other dogs and people. Getting help from Sit Happens was the best decision I’ve ever made regarding Sissy! Not only does she train your fur baby, but she trains you as well to ensure continued success when your sessions are over! We only had 4 sessions together and the difference is like night and day. I’m able to do things with my dog that I’ve never done before!

This class is a great confidence builder for shy or fearful dogs; offers an outlet for older and retired dogs; and provides mental stimulation for ALL dogs. 🐾 This class will focus on teaching your dog to find a target odor- Birch, and to stay at the odor. Dogs ARE REQUIRED to wait their turn during class and are worked one at a time.

🥜Peanut, the 7 year old Lab Mix, is currently e 🥜Peanut, the 7 year old Lab Mix, is currently enrolled in private training for behavior modification. He has been through a lot this past year, as one of his human owners and his canine sibling passed away. Shortly after, he began presenting with signs of separation anxiety. Prior to training he could not safely be left alone. He showed signs of escapism and would constantly pace and scratch at the windows. We implemented management, crate training, enrichment, systematic desensitization, counter-conditioning, and obedience training. He is now able to be safely left alone for a few hours and we aee gradually increasing his threshold. They're doing great in their training lessons. They are acing their potty training and building so much focus. They also get along well with their older canine siblings and are getting adequate time apart from each other to prevent littermate syndrome.
