Puppy Play Time is open to puppies ages 10 weeks to 5 months. The cost is $25/puppy.
Mochi went on a field trip to Stine Home & Yard. I Mochi went on a field trip to Stine Home & Yard. It was an incredibly challenging environment for him. We spent 10 minutes outside of the store using the "look at that" protocol and treating for calm behavior before entering. We kept our distance from people to ensure that he could not practice lunging on leash. He was able to see people at a distance, but unable to interact with them. He was able to focus in short spurts and work for treats. He will need repeated exposure in new environments to continue to build his focus with distractions. He did a great job coming out the car calm and with no jumping. Trout (German Shepherd) and Judah (Golden Retrieve Trout (German Shepherd) and Judah (Golden Retriever) had a BLAST at Puppy Play Time this week! She's a fearful dog and is very unsure of interactions with unfamiliar dogs. She's in training to work on building her confidence and reducing her fear.
