Puppy Class

 This is a 5 week course for puppies ages 10 weeks to 5 months of age. Class meets the same day and time each week for 5 weeks. This course covers house-training, socialization, handling for veterinary exams, problem solving for common behaviors problems such as common problem puppy behaviors such as jumping, barking, mouthing, chewing, and digging. Your puppy will learn eye contact, sit, down, come, stay, leave it, loose leash walking, and go to bed. Attend a puppy social and your puppy will be eligible to take their AKC Puppy STAR test and earn a Title! 

Proof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian, a negative fecal, and flea prevention are needed to attend class. Puppies need 2 rounds of vaccinations given by a veterinarian.

Our Intro to Agility class is a great way to have fun with your pet! This class is for dogs and puppies age 6 months and older. This is a 4 week course. This class will introduce your dog to agility obstacles such as – the A-frame, weaves, tunnel, jumps, dog walk and more! The cost is $175/dog. ✅ Classes meet on the same day and time each week. Valkryie, the 7 year old German Shepherd Mix, is c Valkryie, the 7 year old German Shepherd Mix, is currently enrolled in private training lessons for behavior modification. She's in training to work on her barrier aggression and reactivity. She is also sharpening up her obedience skills. We have implemented mental enrichment, systematic desensitization, counter-conditioning, and daily obedience training. She is making great strides of progress and has greatly improved her fence fighting reactivity in the backyard. Annabelle, the 4 year old West Highland White Terr Annabelle, the 4 year old West Highland White Terrier, is currently enrolled in private training lessons for behavior modification. She is not a fan of baths and being groomed. We are counter-conditioning her to handling and building positive associations with the events leading up to grooming. We are also implementing obedience training to curb her attention seeking barking and jumping. We recently saw Sally the 8 year old Cockerspaniel We recently saw Sally the 8 year old Cockerspaniel for a behavior consultation. Sally is a long term behavior client. She is a rescue dog that struggles with fear based human aggression. It's been 2 years since we've seen her for training and she was so excited for her session. Her human sibling is now a toddler and mom has another baby on the way. Sally is struggling with the toddler phase. She began showing signs of avoidance and growling. We discussed management strategies, ruling out pain, implementing walks, and her owners will begin to have her wear her muzzle again when around the toddler. We also discussed giving her decompression time and counter-conditioning. We admire her owners dedication and commitment. Trout and Dorris braved the bad weather last week Trout and Dorris braved the bad weather last week and attended our Puppy Play Time! Trout showed so much confidence and enjoyed conquering all the obstacles and playing. Dorris is still working on appropriate play skills . She made great progress during play time. 🎶We don't talk about Bruno, no, no,no. Meet bur 🎶We don't talk about Bruno, no, no,no. Meet burning the 2 year old European Doberman! He's in training for behavior modification to help decrease his anxiety and defensive aggression. He is responding beautifully to our behavior plan and excels with his obedience training. We are working on finding him productive mental outlets to channel his anxiety. He had his first nosework lesson today and LOVED it. He did fantastic imprinting on Birch Scent and learning how to search for for toys. We are also exploring other dog sport avenues for him.
