Loose Leash Walking Class

This 3 week class is dedicated to learning the tools needed to walk your dog politely on a loose leash. We will cover auto sits, eye contact, relaxed heel, obstacles and games. This class is for dogs and puppies 5 months of age and older. The cost is $100/dog.

Proof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian, a negative fecal, and flea prevention are needed to attend class. Puppies need 2 rounds of vaccines given by a veterinarian.

Agatha, the 5 year old Chihuahua Mix, is currently Agatha, the 5 year old Chihuahua Mix, is currently enrolled in private training lessons with Vikki for behavior modification. She's a rescue dog and struggles with fear aggression towards people. We have implemented enrichment, systematic desensitization, counter-conditioning, and obedience training. She is building confidence and is making tremendous improvement with guests. We're so pleased with her progress. 📅Join us for our Intro to Scent Work Class star 📅Join us for our Intro to Scent Work Class starting Wednesday, June 25th @ 7:30pm! This is a 6 week class. 👇Enroll here: https://lafayettedogtrainer.com/online-class-registration/ 🐶Scent work is great for all dogs. This class is a great confidence builder for shy or fearful dogs; offers an outlet for older and retired dogs; and provides mental stimulation for ALL dogs. 🐾 This class will focus on teaching your dog to find a target odor- Birch, and to stay at the odor. Dogs ARE REQUIRED to wait their turn during class and are worked one at a time.
