Canine Enrichment Workshop

Join us for this 1 hour interactive workshop! We will teach you how to enrich your dog’s daily life by engaging their mind. You will learn the importance of canine enrichment and mental stimulation.

Bring your pup out and discover what activities they enjoy. Your dog will be able to try out interactive toys, games, and engage their brains!

Proof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian, a negative fecal, and flea prevention are needed to attend class. Puppies need 2 rounds of vaccinations given by a veterinarian.

Payment is due prior to the start of the workshop. Once completed enrollment form is received you will receive an invoice. Payment ensures your spot in class.

Derby, the 3 year old Boxer, is currently enrolled Derby, the 3 year old Boxer, is currently enrolled in private training lessons for behavior modification. He recently went back to his breeder after his owners needed to rehome him due to no fault of his own. His previous home did not have a lot of activity and his new owners wanted to help him easily adjust to living in a busy household. He was a tad overwhelmed at first. He is settling in and doing fantastic! One benefit from getting a dog from an ethical breeder, is that they are there for the life of the dog. If an owner needs to rehome them, ethical breeders will take them back in and help find them an appropriate home. Muffin, the 9 month old Labrador Retriever, is cur Muffin, the 9 month old Labrador Retriever, is currently enrolled in private training lessons with Vikki. He's quite the handful and a spunky teenager. He is in training to stop his destructive behaviors and learn his obedience cues. He needs and craves tons of physical activity, as well as mental enrichment. We have implemented daily walks, fetch, and obedience training. He is also just now learning boundaries in his teenage era and we are utilizing time out to reinforce his boundaries. He's very sweet. We will cover auto sits for greeting, anti-jump exercises, and staying on a bed with distractions. ✅The cost is $45/dog. ✅Classes take place at our training center located at 131 James Comeaux Rd, Lafayette La 70508. ✅ Proof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian, a negative fecal, and flea prevention are needed to attend class. Tux, the 3 year old Border Collie Mix, is currentl Tux, the 3 year old Border Collie Mix, is currently enrolled in private training lessons with Vikki for behavior modification. He recently growled at his 3 year old human sibling and his owners wanted to be proactive. His family welcomed twin newborns to the household a few months ago and Tux has been showing increased signs of stress, anxiety, and fear with the new additions. We have implemented management, muzzle conditioning, desensitization, counter-conditioning, and structured training sessions to help decrease Tux's anxiety. He is feeling much better and having less anxiety. Scout and Nala are currently enrolled in private t Scout and Nala are currently enrolled in private training lessons at our Training Center for behavior modification. They are 3 year old rescue dogs and struggle with littermate syndrome, excessive barking, reactivity, and fear based behaviors. We have implemented daily enrichment, desensitization, and counter-conditioning to help reduce their stress and fear reactive behaviors. They are also building confidence with obedience training. Class meets the same day and time each week for 4 weeks. Your puppy will learn eye contact, sit, down, come, stay, leave it, loose leash walking, go to bed.
