We offer In-Home Private Training for those in Lafayette. We offer basic and advanced obedience training in the comfort of your own home. Advanced private training lessons can take place in your home or a location. All ages and breed are welcome for training. We will travel within 30 miles of Lafayette.

Our hybrid training program is designed to specifically cater to puppies 5 months of age and younger. We take trips to local parks, pet stores, and sometimes even restaurants to ensure adequate socialization and reliability of cues.

🤩Meet Millie! She's a 1 year old rescue Lab Mix 🤩Meet Millie! She's a 1 year old rescue Lab Mix and is currently enrolled in training for behavior modification. She's very fearful and reactive towards dog's on leash. She is very friendly, but is unsure of how to respond to new people and dogs. We are utilizing systematic desensitization and counter-conditioning to change her emotional response to triggers. We are also teaching her obedience cues to help her gain confidence. Peanut, the 7 year old Chihuahua Mix, is currently Peanut, the 7 year old Chihuahua Mix, is currently enrolled in our private training program for behavior modification. His original owner passed away and now he is in a new environment with more activity such as children on scooters, bicycles in the neighborhood, and guests coming over. He is reactive in the neighborhood when seeing triggers. He is very nervous around children and responds aggressively. We are implementing muzzle conditioning, management, systematic desensitization, and counter-conditioning to help Peanut feel more at ease in his new environment. He is also enjoying learning his obedience cues. Though he is fearful, once he is comfortable with someone he is quite the friendly and social pup. Penny, the 7 month old Boykin Spaniel, is currentl Penny, the 7 month old Boykin Spaniel, is currently enrolled in private training lessons for behavior modification training. Penny struggles with Pica, a condition that results in her eating non-food items. Prior to training, she has had 2 foreign body surgeries to remove socks that she ingested. We have implemented heavy management, muzzle conditioning, and a referral to her vet as well as a veterinary behaviorist. When working with Pica it is important to rule out any underlying medical conditions for the behavior, as well as reducing her stress and anxiety. She is making tremendous progress in training. She is enjoying learning her obedience cues, working on her impulse control, and the increase of physical exercise.
