This 1 hour workshop is for you! We will work on paw targeting, wobble pads, cavalettis, and other fun exercises! This intense one hour workshop will cover body awareness exercises and muscle toning. K9 Conditioning is a great way to better the bond with your dog while exercising their mind and body. The cost is $45/dog. ✅ Classes meet on the same day and time each week. Classes take place at our training center located at 131 James Comeaux Rd, Lafayette, La 70508. ✅ Proof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian, a negative fecal, and flea prevention are needed to attend class. Puppies need 2 rounds of vaccines given by a veterinarian. ✅ All classes are taught with positive reinforcement based methods, we do not use any choke, prong, or shock collars.
Charlie, the almost 2 year old Goldendoodle, is cu Charlie, the almost 2 year old Goldendoodle, is currently enrolled in private training lessons with Vikki. He previously completed training with us as a puppy and has retained so much of his obedience training. Charlie is showing signs of struggling with Pica and is obsessed with trying to obtain and eat certain non food items. Our training plan has consisted of a veterinarian visit snd blood work to rule out any underlying medical issues that could contribute to the behavior. We are currently implementing heavy management, behavior probiotics, and muzzle conditioning for Charlie's safety. He is also working hard on his impulse control and increasing mental enrichment to lessen his anxiety. Mac, the 4 year old Sheepadoodle, is currently enr Mac, the 4 year old Sheepadoodle, is currently enrolled in private training lessons with Vikki for behavior modification. He is in training to work on his human aggression and anxiety. To the untrained eye, Mac can look very friendly and hyper. He will pant, wag his tail, jump, and mount people. He displays these signs when he is overstimulated and about to engage in aggressive behaviors. When we first started training he was displaying high levels of stress, anxiety, and intense resource guarding. With positive reinforcement training techniques and behavioral medication from his vet he has greatly decreased his aggression, resource guarding, and daily stress. His owner can now safely walk him on the neighborhood and guests have noticed the difference in hia behavior.
