Training Lessons

Private Training lessons can take place in your home, our training center, or a public location. All ages and breeds are welcome for private training. We offer basic and advanced training, as well as behavior modification services. We will travel within 30 miles of Lafayette to meet your needs for private training.

Scruffy, the 3 year old rescued Mixed Breed, rece Scruffy, the 3 year old rescued Mixed Breed, recently completed his first round of in-home private training lessons. Prior to training his owners could not have visitors in the house. He would constantly growl, bark, and displayed heavy resource guarding of the entire home, along with aggression towards guests. His veterinarian adjusted his behavior medication fir training and we implemented heavy management. Utilizing positive reinforcement training techniques, we have increased Scruffy's tolerance fkr guests and decreased the area of the home that he guards. Guests can now safely visit in the kitchen and living room. He is still working on decreasing his aggression and is making progress each week.
