Board & Train Training Agreement

I understand that Vikki Bourgeois is not affiliated with any company other than Sit Happens Dog Training. Sit Happens Dog Training, LLC. may use pictures/videos of me or my dog for publicity or promotional purposes, without any liability or obligation of any kind to me.

I understand that training services are NOT guaranteed.
Sit Happens Dog training will not be held responsible for any injuries (including death) or property damage caused by herself or any dog in which she has worked.

I understand that Sit Happens Dog Training may authorize veterinary care in the event of illness or emergency. I will be held responsible for all costs associated with veterinary care.

Full payment is due at drop off for training. I understand that Sit Happens Dog Training does NOT issue refunds. No exceptions, services are non-transferable.

I understand that I have one month to complete my follow up session.

I understand that Sit Happens Dog Training uses positive rewards based training methods. Using physical punishment is grounds to terminate services. Physical punishment includes, but is not limited to choke chains, pinch collars, shock collars, etc.

I agree to provide the necessary materials needed for training. Including, but not limited to: treats, toys, leash, collar, harness, etc.

I give permission for my dog to be transported via automobile for training field trips and travel.

There is a $35 NSF fee for all returned checks.

I understand that I am to be on time to drop off and pick up my pet for training. A late fee of $20 every 15 minutes that you are late will be charged. I understand that I am not to arrive early to pick up or drop off my dog.

I understand that I can follow my dog’s training progress via social media - Facebook, Instagram, or company website. I understand that my trainer will not provide daily updates and the best way to reach them is via email with any questions or concerns.

I understand that my behavior directly influences my dog’s behavior and that once my dog goes home continuing training is my responsibility.

Any controversy, claim, cause of action or similar arising out of or relating to the Agreement, or breach of this Agreement, shall be settled by arbitration in the state of Louisiana, which will occur via telephone by an arbitrator that we mutually agree upon. The costs of the arbitration shall be borne by the losing property.
