PROGRAM

Our board & train program is designed for puppies 10 weeks of age to 1 year old. Our program allows for accelerated learning while your puppy stays in the home with a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. We focus on imprinting basic obedience cues and taking field trips to ensure adequate socialization.

Our board and train program is a 2 week program that accelerates the learning process for your puppy. Our program is designed for puppies 1 year of age and under. We start training as young as 10 weeks of age. Your dog will receive daily training sessions while staying in the home with a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. This program includes 2 field trips,  handouts, and a follow up lesson to ensure a smooth transition back into the home.

🎶We don't talk about Bruno, no, no,no. Meet bur 🎶We don't talk about Bruno, no, no,no. Meet burning the 2 year old European Doberman! He's in training for behavior modification to help decrease his anxiety and defensive aggression. He is responding beautifully to our behavior plan and excels with his obedience training. We are working on finding him productive mental outlets to channel his anxiety. He had his first nosework lesson today and LOVED it. He did fantastic imprinting on Birch Scent and learning how to search for for toys. We are also exploring other dog sport avenues for him. Nike, the 1 year old Bernadoodle, is currently in Nike, the 1 year old Bernadoodle, is currently in private training lessons for behavior modification. She completed our puppy class when she was younger. She has recently began struggling with anxiety and grooming. There is a lot of construction in her current neighborhood which has been increasing her anxiety due to the noise. We have implemented doggy daycare, calming chews, sniff walks, and obedience training to help reduce her daily stress levels. We are also working on desensitize and counter-conditioning her to grooming using the dopamine box method. She is making great strides of progress and is feeling less anxious each day. She's in training to curb her attention seeking jumping, learn her basic obedience cues, and to work on her impulse control around toys. She's doing fantastic! Class meets the same day and time each week for 4 weeks. This course covers house-training, socialization, handling for veterinary exams, problem solving for common behaviors problems such as common problem puppy behaviors such as jumping, barking, mouthing, chewing, and digging. Your puppy will learn eye contact, sit, down, come, stay, leave it, loose leash walking, and go to bed. The cost is $175. ✅ Classes meet on the same day and time each week. Classes take place at our training center located at 131 James Comeaux Rd, Lafayette, La 70508. ✅ Proof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian, a negative fecal, and flea prevention are needed to attend class. Puppies need 2 rounds of vaccines given by a veterinarian. ✅ All classes are taught with positive reinforcement based methods, we do not use any choke, prong, or shock collars.

How about working on your AKC CGC Title? This class will help teach you the tools to achieve these. This 6 week class covers all 10 steps of the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. Class meets the same day and time each week for 6 weeks. We will work on exercises such as accepting a friendly stranger, supervised separation, walking through a crowd, and MUCH more! AKC Canine Good Citizen testing will take place during the final class. The cost is $200/dog. ✅ Classes take place at our training center located at 131 James Comeaux Rd, Lafayette La 70508. ✅ Proof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian, a negative fecal, and flea prevention are needed to attend class. Pierre is showing off "paws up" and Echo is rocking her "take a bow." Tricks are a great way to bond with your dog and build their confidence!
