SUMMARY:Low Stress Handling Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Does your dog fight you when it’s time to trim their nails? Is it impossible to bathe them? Is bringing them to the vet stressful and hard to manage? If so\, then THIS is the workshop for you! \nWe will teach you safe\, stress free\, and effective methods to teach your dog to not only tolerate handling\, but enjoy it. We will cover preparing your dog for procedures such as: veterinary exams\, blood draws\, nail trims\, ear/eye exams\, taking medications\, injections\, mouth exams and teeth brushing. \nWe will cover new cues for your dog such as chin & nose targeting\, stand\, settling on a mat\, and muzzle conditioning. \nProof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian\, a negative fecal\, and flea prevention are needed to attend class. Puppies need 2 rounds of vaccinations given by a veterinarian. \n*** The cost is $30/dog.\n*** We also have audit spots available for $15/person. \nSPACE IS LIMITED!!!
