SUMMARY:Introduction to Scent Work
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this super fun class designed to boost your dog’s natural hunting ability! You will enjoy learning a new way of bonding with your dog while strengthening their problem solving skills\, confidence\, and have tons of fun while doing it! \nNose work is great for all dogs. This class is a great confidence builder for shy or fearful dogs; offers an outlet for older and retired dogs; and provides mental stimulation for ALL dogs. Any age dog can play\, and since all dogs will be crated when it is not their turn to work\, even dogs that are reactive to other dogs may participate. (Human reactive dogs are not permitted in class). \nClass meets the same day and time\, each week for 6 weeks. \nParticipants will be worked one at a time. This class will focus on teaching your dog to find a target odor- Birch\, and to stay at the odor. \nDogs ARE REQUIRED to wait their turn during class and are worked one at a time. Please bring a crate\, crate cover\, and stuffed kong for your dog\, especially if your dog is fearful or reactive. \nThe cost for class is $120/dog.\n***Audit Spots are available for class for $75. \nProof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian\, a negative fecal\, and flea prevention are needed to attend class. Puppies need 2 rounds of vaccinations given by a veterinarian.
